Roberta D. Damschroder

Roberta D. Damschroder, 92, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away, Wednesday, September 01, 2010, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born November 14, 1917, in Salem Township, the daughter of Ernest and Caroline Voelzke Everett. On April 18 1942, in Oak Harbor, OH, Roberta married Walter S. Damschroder and he preceded her in death 18, 2002. Roberta worked as a beautician for 59 years and owned and operated her beauty shop out of her home since 1947. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Fremont, OH, and also sang in the choir. Roberta was a member of the Riverview Ladies Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her son, Roger Janet Damschroder of Oak Harbor, brother, Glendon Everett of Oak Harbor, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, grandson, Roger Bill William Damschroder and sister, Evelyn Kleinhans of Oak Harbor. Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Roberta may be given to the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church or the Ottawa County Humane Society.
