Robert C. Zunk, 72, of Clay Center, Ohio, died suddenly in his home early Monday morning September 14, 2009. Bob was born April 9, 1937, in Curtice, Ohio, to Fred R. and Minnie Blausey Zunk. On April 9, 1961, in St. John Lutheran Church, Williston, Ohio, he married Terry J. Schimming, who survives him. Bob retired as a plumber from Siglar & Sieving in Genoa. He had also worked at Guardian Industries in Millbury and Zunks Sohio in Williston. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center. Bobs interests included bowling, collecting, small engine repair, and visiting with people. In addition to his wife, Terry of 48 years, Bob is survived by his children, Terry Rob and wife Caren Zunk, Barbara Mike Timbrook, and Lee Jillene Zunk, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Zunk, and sister Frances Ehrsam. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009, with interment to follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. The family suggests memorials for Bob to First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center.
