Robert Ziehr

Robert Ziehr, 86, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at The Lakes of Monclova Health Campus, Maumee. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 24, 1927 to Theodore and Violet Tucker Ziehr. Bob was a buyer for Grand Trunk Railroad and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of both Little Flower Catholic Church and Rogers High School Athletic Boosters Club. Bob loved sports, casinos and jigsaw puzzles. Bob is survived by his daughter, Debbie Ziehr and son, Mark Ziehr, close family friend, Camille Thomas, and cousin CarlJeanette Ziehr. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, and sister Kathleen Fisher. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 6, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street Maumee, Ohio 43537. Additional visitation will be held on Monday October 7, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
