Robert L. Larry Zellers ZELLERS Robert L. Larry Robert L. Larry Zellers, age 57, of Maumee, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008. He was born November 4, 1950, in Ferndale, Michigan to Chester O. and Betty G. McArthur Zellers. Larry was employed at Chrysler for 29 years and retired as a production area manager. He was also employed at Woodcraft as a sales associate. An avid Michigan and Dale Earnhart fan, he also enjoyed woodworking and camping with his family. His family was the most important part of his life. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and a friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Larrys grandchildren knew him as Papa Toolz. He was a member of the Chapter 5 Club and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where he was the grill master at the OLL festivals. Surviving are his loving wife, Becky Johnson Zellers; children, Don Denise Zellers, Michelle Scott Kleiber, Sharon Theiss, Lori Johnson, Robert Johnson, Kevin Thuhanh Johnson and 4 grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Sharon Phil Ode; brothers, Curtis Amy Zellers, Mark Lila Zellers and father and mother-in-law, Don and Margaret Hoffman. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 5012 Conant St., Maumee, on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery, Waterville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
