Robert O York

Robert Odell York age 80 of Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Bob was born in Brewstertown, TN on January 1, 1937 to Omer J. and Ethel C. (Jones) York. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force from 1958-1963. He was employed over 30 years at The Andersons as a purchasing agent in charge of the tool room. Bob was an active member of Bethel Missionary Church in Rossford, OH. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially attending his grandchildrens sporting events. Bob also enjoyed traveling to Tennessee to visit the family farm and spend time with his brothers. Surviving are his children, Fran (Randy) Caris, Richard (Jennifer) York and Rob (Ginny) York; grandchildren, Melissa, Randy Jr., Andrew, Madelyn, Nolan, Claire, Dalton, Harrison and Carson. Also surviving are his brothers, Gene (Gay), Ronnie (Janie) and Eddie (Teena); sisters, Vivian and Lou (Kenny). Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00AM at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Glenwood Rd. Rossford, OH. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
