Robert William Weller, age 64, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at his home. The son of Ernst and Ernestine, he was born Jan. 2, 1944 in Monroe, MI. Robert was a graduate of Monroe High School. He worked for GM for over 20 years as a pattern maker before retiring. Prior to GM, he was employed at Northstar Steel in Monroe as a supervisor and at the Ford Motor Company in Flat Rock, MI. Robert was a member of First Apostolic Church. He enjoyed photography, motorcycles, cars, and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Denise M. Jacobs; children, Rachel P. Weller, Luke E. Weller, Christie Mike Miller; granddaughter, Ava Miller; brothers, Carl, Herman Weller; sisters, Carol Robert Dusseau, Helen Patton, Nancy Patrick Block. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 3-8 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 11:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Brother Mark Jordan officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Apostolic Christian Academy or First Apostolic Church.
