Robert R. Bob Welch, Jr.

Robert Bob R. Welch, Jr., of Genoa, passed away Friday afternoon, August 2, 2019, at his home. Bob was born November 10, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert, Sr. and Wanda (Case) Welch. He married Barbara J. Beutler on September 13, 1980, in Genoa and she survives. Bob was an electrician by trade and from 1981-2008 he owned Bob Welch Electric. Prior to that he worked at L.O.F. in Rossford. Bob loved his family and enjoyed fishing and camping with them. He also enjoyed playing cards. Bob was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa. Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Ronald Welch, Robert (Vicki) Welch, Daniel Welch, Kristina (P.G.) Gerber and Jennifer (Todd) Lenart; grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, Jordon, Jacob, Reilley, Joshua and Emily and ten great grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
