Bob passed away at home on August 17, 2025 as a result of a hard fought battle with multiple myeloma. He was the son of Theodore and Norma (Pollock) Tucker. He was a 1971 graduate of Whitmer High School and was employed by Good Displays, Exhibit and Display and Lettercraft.
Above all, Bob loved and cherished his family. He enjoyed the Tucker family vacations in Michigan with his grandmother, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins and later with his children, siblings and their families. He also enjoyed fishing, playing Euchre with friends, astronomy, and antiques.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved life partner of 34 years, Jane Helfer, his children, Erin Edwards (Chris), Weston Tucker (Michael Call), and Aarik Tucker (Chelsea Tonoff), grandchildren, Jack and Sam Edwards, Theodora "Teddy" Tucker and Aarik "Boomer" Tucker II.
He is survived by siblings, Theodore (Becky), Michael (Julie), David (Debbie), Linda Tucker Moir (Mark), Kathy Mackey, and Scott and Jane's brother, Jim Helfer; the Bly family, William (Linda), Roger (Penny), Steven (Brenda), and Allison (Joseph) Schlosser; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife and mother of his children, Debra (Bly); brother-in-law, Jim Mackey; and nephew, Brian Tucker.
The family would like to thank Dr. Muler, the staff of the Hickman Cancer Center, the medical team of the Flower Hospital Oncology Unit, and Heartland Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park
