Robert "Bob" Szul

Robert J. “Bob” Szul, age 89, passed away October 13, 2024. He was born in Rossford, OH to Walter and Angela (Hrosko) Szul. Bob was a 1953 graduate of Rossford High School. After high school he enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country for two years. Following his honorable discharge from the Army he went to work for Libbey Owens Ford in the office. In 1961, Bob transferred to Libbey Owens Ford in Lathrop, California. He lived in Manteca, California for 60 years, returning in 2018 due to illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Walter. Bob is survived by his brother, John (Bonnie) of Rossford; step-daughter, Melissa; step-grandchildren, Killian, Oranne, and Allan who reside in France; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Memorial donations may be given to Ashanti Hospice.
