ROBERT D. SWARTZ Robert D. Swartz, age 63, of Walbridge, passed away July 7, 2011, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He was born on July 28, 1947 in Toledo to Robert and Annabelle (Lohmeyer) Swartz. Bob retired in 2001 from Libbey Glass where he worked for 32 years. Bob enjoyed playing golf and cards. He had a love for working in his yard and motorcycles. Bob is survived by his loving wife Cathy, mother; Annabelle “Ann” Crosby, sons; Robert D. Swartz and Danny Buford, daughter; Amy Jumper, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sister Michelle (Max) Wyse, sister-in-law; Kristie Swartz, sister-in-law; Cindy (Mark) Chapman, brother-in-law; Michael (Penny) Murphy, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He had a special relationship with his nephew Ronald D. Swartz II and aunt Mabel Roughton. He will also be missed by good friends Keith Harvey, Don Johnson, special neighbors Duane and Carol Hanely and his favorite pie maker Lisa S. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert H. Swartz, stepfather; Marvin Crosby and brother; Ronald D. Swartz. Friends will be received from 2-8pm on Sunday, July 10, 2011, in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, (419-666-3121) where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10am. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville. The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to everyone at Hospice and a special thank you to his Hospice nurse Lisa Bugbee.
