Robert Michael Sumner

Robert Michael Sumner, age 68, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was born on February 1, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio to Clarence and Vivian (Kane) Sumner. Bob attended from Rossford High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a machine operator for Woodsage and retired in 2012. Bob was a member of Calvary Church in Maumee; enjoyed camping with his wife and spending time with his family and friends. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janet (Stock); mother, Vivian; siblings, Nancy (Frank) Loomis, Judy (Bill) Bowerman, John Sumner, MaryAnn (Jim) Frankforther and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence and nephew, Erick Loomis Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio.
