Robert L. Stanish

Robert L. “Bob” Stanish, 68 of Temperance, Michigan, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at home. Also known to those close as “Gramps” or “Grandpa Bob”, he was born February 9, 1955 to John and Beatrice (Lisiakowski) Stanish in Toledo. Bob graduated from Macomber Vocational High School in 1973 and then began his career as a machinist first at Strong Electric and later at National Super Service (NSS).

On June 24, 1978 Bob married the love of his life, Vickie (Haas) Stanish. They enjoyed 45 happy years together and welcomed three children and three grandchildren, who Bob loved spending time with. He enjoyed attending the many sporting events and other activities they were involved in. Bob was also an avid fan of rock and blues music, attending many concerts over the years. He also enjoyed football, whether that be watching the Michigan Wolverines, Dallas Cowboys, or under the Friday Night Lights at a high school game.

Bob is survived by his wife Vickie Stanish; children Tim (Anette) Stanish, Tracy (Ransom) Roquemore, and Eric Stanish; grandchildren Avery, Von and Audrey; sister Donna (Larry); sister-in-law Marlene (David); brother-in-law Randy (Bev); along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, OH 43551). Sharing of memories will follow immediately at 12 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, or the humane society of the donor’s choice.
