Robert Sradeja

Robert Frank Sradeja, age 82, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Born on November 18, 1940 to parents Frank and Ann (Hrabal) Sradeja, Robert spent his whole life in the Toledo area. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1958 and went on to graduate from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s in education. Bob spent his career as a teacher at Whitmer High School.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his poker group, and loved golfing and fishing. He was also a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Robert married Dianne Avery in 1996, and they spent 27 years together until his passing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Dianne; step-son Brandon (Jessie) Cohen; grandchildren, Simon, Noah, Henry, and Leonard “Lenny”; special granddaughter, Claire Callis; siblings, Karen Hahnefeld, and Jim (Debbie) Sradeja; nephew Scott (Cindy) Hicks; and nieces, Jennifer and Kelsey.
