Robert E. Shetenhelm

Robert E. Shetenhelm, 61, of Catawba Island, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 24, 2008. He was born April 18, 1947 in Fremont, OH, the son of Marvin and Katherine Silverwood Shetenhelm. On April 14, 1984, in Fremont, OH, he married Jean A. Kayden and she survives. Robert worked as a paramedic for the Sandusky County E.M.S. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and sportsman. Robert was a charter boat captain for over 20 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Jean A. Shetenhelm of Catawba Island; Step-Daughter: Lisa Ron Wetzel of Lindsey, OH; Step-Son: Kevin Fought of Port Clinton, OH; Sister: Linda Jim Otermat of Marblehead, OH; Cousins: Michael Cheryl Shetenhelm of Fremont, OH and many loving nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Monday, October 27, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Chris Young at 10:30AM, Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Marblehead, OH.
