Robert Newton Sapp

Robert N. Sapp, Jr. age 42, passed away Monday November 9, 2015. The son of Marie and Newt, he was born November 15, 1972 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Springfield High School. Robert was a big Steelers and University of Michigan fan and enjoyed fishing. He was very talented with his hands and could fix and make almost anything. Most of all Robert loved all his kids and they loved him. He is survived by his uncle, Rick (Barbara) Meadows, who was like a father to him; wife, Tiffany; children, Asheley Sapp, Patsy Fitzgerald , Austin Simpson, Robbie Sapp, Ashley, Faith and Brian Mowry, Samantha Henry; 4 grandchildren; sisters Penny (Jeff Trager) Sapp-Kilcorse, Courtnee FitzSimmons, Dawn Newton; brothers, Bubba Houttekier, Jr., John Meadows; aunts, Dee DeHavens and Shirley (Denny) Taylor; uncle, Virgil Bias; nieces nephews, Michael, Luke Emily Kilcorse, Jacob Trager, Shelby Chelsey Meadows, Jonothon FitzSimmons, Chase Cassidy Cutlip; many cousins; the Straub family; and numerous other family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie FitzSimmons; father, Newt Sapp; grandparents, Dewey and Mary I. Meadows; aunts, Patsy Bias, Linda Straub; uncle, Ed Meadows; niece nephew, Mattie and Mark Kilcorse; cousins, Chuckie Straub, Jr. and Steven Taylor. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 12-7 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where a service will be held 7:00 PM Saturday.
