Robert Rice

Robert A. Rice, 83, of Maumee, OH passed away on December 2, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on January 19, 1939 in Holland, OH to Arthur and Thelma Rice. Robert proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He loved and enjoyed his early retirement from the city of Maumee.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Amy Nelson (Loren); son, Matthew Rice (Beth); grandchildren, Chris, Bobby, Stephanie and Emily; and five great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; sons Bobby and Scott; ex-wife, Diane; and grandson, Anthony.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Springfield Township Cemetery, 7556 Airport Highway, Holland, OH in the sections of the cemetery located closest to Airport Highway.
