Robert Raymond Peneff

Robert Raymond Peneff, age 77, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on April 16, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Bertha (Szymanski) Peneff. Bob worked at Craftmaster for many years in various departments. After Craftmaster closed, he opened and operated The Mail Depot in Perrysburg until he retired. Bob proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and Lions; and enjoyed bowling and playing softball. Bob loved to fish and be outside gardening. His greatest joy came from his family, which was strengthened by his walk with the Lord. Bob is survived by his sons, Craig and Todd; granddaughters, Krista and Allison Peneff; brother, Duane Bill sister-in-law, Mary (Herb) Eckhart; nieces, Dawn Eckhart, Tiffany Eckhart and Dana Thompson and nephew, Herb Eckhart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Patsy; son, Erick and brother, Kenneth. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 followed by the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee.
