Robert "Bob" E. Nusser Ii

Robert “Bob” E. Nusser II, 81, of Williston, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital after a lingering illness. Bob was a beloved resident of the Luther Home of Mercy for the past 46 years. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 5, 1942, the son of Robert E. and Florence A, (Wasmundt) Nusser I. He started his education at Trinity Lutheran School and then Toledo Public Schools, finishing at Lott Day School. Bob moved to the Luther Home of Mercy on October 10, 1977. He worked for Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor and attended Vail Meadows, Emmaus, Genesis, and Portage Trails.

Bob was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved to watch old westerns. He kept track of the goings on by monitoring his scanner and in later years he enjoyed listening to music with his headphones. Watching birds was also one of his favorite pastimes.

Bob is survived by his sisters, Carol Keeley and Janet (Robert) Hower. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Florence Nusser I, and brother-in-law Robert Keeley.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM, at the Luther Home of Mercy Chapel, Williston, Ohio. Interment will be private at the Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, Ohio. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, Ohio is assisting with arrangements.
