Robert Neal O'Brien

Robert Neal O’Brien, age 79 passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Toledo Hospital. The son of Cletus and Milmer, he was born May 22, 1941 in Detroit. In 1959, he joined the U.S. Army and was a member of the 101st Airborne. Following his honorable discharge, he began working for Gorno Steel in Michigan. He came to Toledo when a position there opened up with Gorno steel. He then worked for AK Tube and retired from them at the age of 75. Bob enjoyed reading, especially history. He loved animals and always had a pet around the house. Bob was a very quiet man whose personality spoke volumes. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Michael (Lori), Theresa, John O’Brien; grandchildren, Sydney and Colin O’Brien; siblings, Michael O’Brien, Jerry (Judy) O'Brien, Kathleen Price, and Neal (Nancy) O’Brien.
