Robert R. Moungie

Robert R. Moungie age 85 of Holland, OH passed away on Friday April 29, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital. Bob was born in Toledo, OH on June 17, 1925 to Raymond and Adelaide Parish Moungie. Bob was a Train Dispatcher for New York Central Rairoad, Penn Central and retired from Conrail. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving on the USS Bismark Sea and on October 6, 2010, Bob was proud to go on his first Honor Flight to Washington D.C. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. Bob was a member of the Maumee Elks and the North Toledo Sportsman Club. Surviving are his daughters, Diana Gaisser, Gale Krout; son, Scott Moungie and daughter in-law, Barb Moungie; grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Roger, Tony, Michelle and 7 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna and son Robert Moungie Jr. Visitation and services will be private. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee.
