Robert V. Milton, age 88, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Parkcliffe Community. The son of Andrew and Ida, he was born July 31, 1928 in Toledo. He served his country, during the Korean War, in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged. He married Dorothy Morrison who preceded him in death in 2000. He later married Jacqueline Byrum-Vogt in 2002. They resided in Tavares, FL for a few years before moving back to Toledo. Bob enjoyed walking, bowling and fishing. He was retired from the Maumee Tool & Die Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Virginia Meuth and Jean Winterfeld. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; step children, Vern (Brenda) Vogt, Vicki (Fred) Wiseman, Tracy (Keith Gorka) Dagostino all of Toledo and Kevin (Audrey) Vogt of Orange City, FL. Also surviving is a niece, Carol Fear of South Carolina and three nephews, Gary Winterfeld of Florida, Glen Winterfeld of California and Mark Meuth of England. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 2-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave (west of Corey Rd) where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to ProMedica Hospice or Parkcliffe Alzheimer Community. Condolences may be shared with the family at walkefuneralhomes.com. The family would like to thank Nancy from ProMedica Hospice and the staff at Parkcliffe Dementia Care Community, especially Sherri, for giving Bob comfort during his final battle with Dementia and Parkinsons Disease. They would also like to thank family and friends, Mary Mylek and Matasha Storey for all their help during Bobs long illness.
