Robert R. Marshalko

Robert R. Marshalko, 78, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Bob was born January 3, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Michael and Helen (Szakovits) Marshalko. He served our country in the United States Army. Bob married Wilda Hanely on April 11, 1959 in Perrysburg, Ohio and she survives. Bob worked as a senior lab technician for Doehler Jarvis and retired in 1990. He enjoyed NASCAR, professional wrestling and spending time with his family. Bob will be remembered as a jokester, always making you laugh and having a smile on his face. Along with his wife, Wilda, Bob is survived by his children, Linda (Chuck) Degner, Sue Magsig and Mark Marshalko, grandchildren, Nichole and Kori Degner and Elizabeth Magsig; goddaughter, Jodi and siblings, Cork (Johnette) Marshalko, Ronnie Marshalko and Doris Faylor and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received Monday, October 8, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
