Robert L. Davis

Robert Louis Davis, age 90, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at his home in Maumee, OH. Robert was born in Toledo, OH on May 27, 1918 to Harold E. and Hazel Johnson Davis. Bob served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a professional engineer for L.O.F. for 32 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of Zenobia Highlanders, Zenobia Shrine, the Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, and the Rubicon Blue Lodge. A member of St. Andrews Methodist Church, Bob was a devoted husband and father. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marietta in February, 2008, his daughter, Gwendolyn L Davis in April, 2008 and his parents, Harold and Hazel. He is survived by his grandchildren, Ashleigh and Alexander Fayne of Birmingham, AL; sister, Patricia Davis of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Henrietta Harold Dreher; niece, Amy Stewart and nephews Andrew Davis and Dean Dreher.
