Robert Leo Klempner

Robert Leo Klempner, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on Saturday, December 13, 2014.  He was born on February 11, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Florence (Masson) Klempner. Robert proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII.  He also enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He is survived by his son, Raymond Klempner; daughters, Karen Klempner and Kristine (Jim) Sulinski; grandchildren, Matt; Angie and Jim; great grandchildren, Maggie; Lauren; April and Alexander and sister, Marian Neumeyer.  Robert was preceded in death by his wife, June; son, James; daughter-in-law, Linda; parents and siblings, Donald; Art; Teresa; Joyce; Florence and Dorothy. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
