Robert C. Huntley, age 77, passed away Saturday July 30, 2016 Ebeid Hospice Residence. The son of Hartzel and Carol, he was born September 29, 1938 in Toledo. He was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for 2 years as a tank driver. He worked for Toledo Scale as a welder and painter, then later with the Toledo Jeep Plant as a security officer for 20 years. He was well known and liked by his peers and the Jeepers. Bob enjoyed bowling and playing golf and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Ohio State. He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Krum); son, Rick Huntley of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Pam Rudnicki of Colorado Springs; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Metz, Mary (Don) Gring of Toledo; brother, Hartzel (Nancy) Huntley Jr. of Monroe, NC; brothers-in-law, Mel Rakowski, Joe, Jim and Chris Krum; sisters-in-law, Barbara Faylo and Carol Huntley; best friend, Jessica Cousino. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Dorothy Rakowski and brother, Richard Huntley. There will be no visitation and services will be private.
