Robert J. Hineline

Hineline Robert J. Robert J. Hineline, age 86, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. Bob was born April 12, 1923 in Toledo, OH to Harold and Mabel Hineline. He was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War and served in both the Marines and the Navy. Bob worked as a field engineer for IBM for 22 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Zenobia Shrine and the Crusaders Unit, the former Port Lawrence F&AM currently Triad Lodge F&AM where he was past master and secretary, and the Scottish Rite, Commandry, and Chapter. Bob was also a Ham Operator using the handle W8ZFE and a member of TMRA and QCWA. Bob is survived by his daughter, Lisa OHearn; son, Jeff Yvonne Moore Hineline; grandchildren, Nathanael Emily Hineline and Melissa Ison; and great-grandchildren, Ruby Ison and Hazel Hineline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents; son-in-law, Perry OHearn; and sister, Mary Ann Peabody. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-7:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where services will be held at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
