Robert F. Hepfinger

Robert “Bob” F. Hepfinger, 75, of Delta, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Defiance Hospice with his family by his side. He was born on May 17, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to George Jackson and Marie (Biggins) Hepfinger. Bob attended Sylvania High School and worked for many years as a diesel mechanic for Interstate Trucking and Jones Transfer, retiring in 1997. He was a 30 year member of the Damascus/Collingwood Lodge #643 F & A M and a 25 year member of the Ottawa River Yacht Club. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and fishing. Bob is survived by his loving daughters, Linda M. Hepfinger and Debbie A. (Lee) Dunnett and sister, Carol A. Sahadi. He is preceded in death by his parents, lifetime companion, Judith J. Geis, children, Robert F. Hepfinger, Jr. and Cathy L. Hepfinger, and brothers, James, Charles and Howard Hepfinger. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) where a Masonic Service will take place at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Swanton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
