Robert B. Henschen

Robert B. Henschen age 84 of Perrysburg passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Bob was born in Pemberville, OH on November 20, 1931 to Carl and Dena (Schwane) Henschen. He was a 1949 graduate of Webster School which is now Eastwood High School. Bob later attended college and earned his certificate in computers. He was employed as a computer room supervisor for Schindler-Haughton Elevator retiring in 1992. Prior to this, he was employed in sales at Turner Brooks Floors. Bob joined Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg in 1955 where he once taught Sunday school, served on the church council, young married couples group and ushered. He was also a member of Gleaners Portage Center Arbor. Bob bred and raised calves and won a trophy in 1983 for grand champion Simmental. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol (Duhamel) Henschen; daughter, Brenda M. Kramp; grandchildren, Matthew (Maria) Kramp, Andrew (Michele) Kramp; Elizabeth Kramp-Smith, and Catherine (Tyler Hager) Kramp; great-grandchildren, Carley, Riley, Ayla, Maddox, Micah and a great-granddaughter on the way; sisters, JoAnn Morlock and Bonita Bonnie Shiley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister in-law, Marva Jean Michelsen and brothers in-law, Bob Morlock, Clark Shiley, Karl Michelsen and Don Duhamel. Family and Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Visitation will continue at Zoar Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
