Robert W. Hassen

Robert Bob Wayne Hassen, 66, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 26, 1941 in Toledo to Richard and Kathryn Ann Dersch Hassen. Bob was a Naval Veteran and worked for Foodtown for many years. He enjoyed collecting die cast classic cars, sports and was an avid Michigan fan. Bob is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Hassen; son, Kirk Hassen; granddaughter, Jade Hassen; sisters, Judy Darbro and Kathy Mike Raczko; brothers, Gerald Joy Hassen and Donald Nancy Hassen; nieces, Robin Darbro and Heather Michael Wise; and nephews, Michael Foore, Adam Bohland and Kyle Charlyn Bohland; and special friend, Michelle. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by nephews, Rusty and Jared Hassen. Family and friends may visit Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee.
