Robert C Haeft

Robert C. Haeft, 82, of Genoa, Ohio, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Robert was born on February4, 1926 in Genoa, OH to Clarence C. and Bertha M. Beck Haeft. On July 30, 1948 in Elmore, OH Robert married Genevieve Wissinger, and she survives. Robert was a boilermaker for Local 85, and a Navy veteran, where he severed during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post #324, a woodworker, and a avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. Robert also loved to work on large puzzles. Robert is survived by his wife, Genevieve, son, Kenneth, grandchildren, Erik and Christopher, great grandchildren Cameron and Ashlyn, and brothers Don and Jim Haeft. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Haeft. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
