Robert G. Haefner

Robert G. Haefner age 94, formerly of Sylvania passed away on December 30, 2017 in Deltona, Florida. He was born June 24, 1923 in Toledo to Robert A. and Myrtle Haefner. Bob was a mechanic for the Jeep Corporation for 34 years retiring in 1976. He was also a long-time member of Ft. Industry Masonic Lodge. After retirement Bob moved to Florida, first to Okeechobee then to Deltona where he remained until his death. Preceded in death by his wife Ethel and son Michael R. Haefner, he is survived by sons Richard D. and George S. Haefner ; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brother James H. Haefner. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. on Thursday from 4-8 PM where Ft. Industry Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 7:30 PM.
