Robert Leroy Gottfield

Robert Leroy Gottfried, 68, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born on January 09, 1943 in Galion, OH, the son of Leroy and Elma Stansberry Gottfried. Bob worked as a floor coverer and also worked for the Catawba Island Golf Course. He loved fishing, boating and hanging out with his buddies at the campground and the club. Bob had his own stock car and loved to race. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Randall Cindy Gottfried of Massillon, OH; Daughter: Tammy Tony Craig of Erie, PA; Grandchildren: Chasen Gottfried, Dustin Craig, Amber Rigdon and Briana Craig; Great-Grandchild: Kiersten Rigdon; Sister: Carol Jerry Watts of Bucyrus, OH; Step-Father: Leo Hare of Bucyrus, OH and 3 nephews. Bob was preceded in death by parents. There will be no visitation or services per the family. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be given to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements were handled by the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
