Robert L. Geller, 73, of Elliston, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, Ohio, after a sudden illness. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on July 12, 1951, to Louis R. and Helen E. (Keck) Geller. Bob married the love of his life, Linda L. (Behlmer), at St. John Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge, Ohio on May 19, 1972, and they celebrated more than 52 years together.
Bob worked for the Chrysler Machining facility in Perrysburg Township for 30 years, retiring in 2000. After his retirement he spent most of his time with his children and grandchildren, something he enjoyed immensely. He was always on the look-out for a “collectable”, stopping at garage sales and auctions along his journeys. When he was at home he spent time in his barn, known to many as “Bob’s Barn” where he liked to listen to the old country songs along with some Bluegrass. As he got older, Bob enjoyed the outdoors, watching the birds, especially the Purple Martins and the Hummingbirds. Flowers were a favorite of his especially lilies. Bob was an active member of the Fremont Eagles where he enjoyed going to with his wife Linda.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda, daughters, Lisa (Thomas H. Jr.) Alliman, Heidi (Christopher) Jensen and Stacy (Gregory) Shammo, grandchildren, Lydia Alliman, Tyler Alliman, Kennith Ish, Devin Jensen and Colton (Cristy) Shammo, and his special great granddaughter, Wylie Shammo. He was lpreceded in death by his parents, Louis and Helen.
Services for Bob were private, although his family is planning a Celebration of Life sometime in the near future. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home of Genoa, Ohio is assisting with arrangements.
