Robert R. Fry, Sr.

Robert R. Fry, Sr., 81, of Toledo, formerly of Millbury, died Thursday evening, September 19, 2013, at the Lutheran Home at Toledo surrounded by his family. He was born June 5, 1932, in Rossford, Ohio, to Harry R. and Mary E. Sanna Fry. He married Marcella M. Clifton in Toledo, Ohio, on May 12, 1951, and she preceded him in death May 19, 1997. Robert worked for 10 years for New York Central Railroad in Walbridge as a conductor/ railroader and retired in 1979 from Libbey Owens Ford in Toledo. He was a member of the Northwood Church of God in Northwood and a former member of the Northern Light Lodge No. 40 F. & A.M. Robert is survived by his children, Marcia L. Tim Bugaj, Rickie E. Brenda Fry, Scherrie A. Dave Godoshian, Michael L. Fry, Brenda J. Joe Fry-Hissa, Mary C. Fry-Purkey, Susan K. Luke Billingsley and Steven G. Vicki Fry, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also a loving brother to seven siblings. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons, Ronald Fry and Robert Fry, Jr., grandson, Timothy Bugaj, sister, Susan Bennett, brothers, Harry and Michael Fry, and step mother, Audra M. Fry. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2013, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the funeral home with interment to follow in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury.
