Robert Earl "Jr" Mitchell, Jr.

Robert Earl “Jr” Mitchell, Jr., 71, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on November 5, 1952 in Virginia, the son of Robert Earl and Mary (Quillen) Mitchell, Sr.

Junior worked for Kelsey Hayes for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed singing karaoke, playing guitar, listening to records, working on puzzles, and most importantly, spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.

Survivors include his parents; children, James (Norma) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Brenda Lee “Boots” (Harold) Landrum; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Debbie (Rick) Mullins, Mary Jane (John) Ary and Brenda Mitchell; brothers, Kelly (Jen) Mitchell, Bill (Jan) Mitchell, and John Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 11 am until Services at 2 pm.
