Robert C. DuBois, 76, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He was born in Olean, NY on May 26, 1945, to Robert and Sally (Rogers) DuBois. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. Bob also enjoyed skeet shooting and was a lifelong member of the Adam Conservation Club. During his battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Bob spent many hours volunteering and mentoring other patients in need. As Past Master of the Port Lawrence Masonic Lodge, Bob was currently a member of the Paragon Lodge #788. He served as a role model for his sons their entire life and was always there to lend a helping hand (or a stern warning) when needed. His sense of humor and dedication will be dearly missed. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Dubois; sons, Brian DuBois, Michael DuBois; grandchildren, Chelsey DuBois, Tiffany Gueli, Ana DuBois; great-granddaughter, Harper Woodring; siblings, Sharon Rees, Dan DuBois; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 2-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH), where a Masonic Lodge Service will take place at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6149 Hill Avenue, Toledo, OH 43615, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bob’s name may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
