Robert H. Bob DePottey, 61, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Friday, August 02, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Bob was born on April 02, 1952 in Fremont, OH, the son of Daniel and Waneta Miller DePottey. On April 03, 1971 in Fremont, OH, he married Deborah A. Witt and she survives. Bob worked 15 years at Clauss Cutlery and 20 years at Drawbridge Marina. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. Bob loved fishing, wood working and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 42 years: Deborah A. DePottey; Son: Robert Allen DePottey; Daughter: Tammy Michelle Marek; Son: Brian Mitchell DePottey; Daughter: Jamie Lynn DePottey; 10 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild on the way; Sisters: Sandy Rob Jenkins, Karen Lockhart, Beth Ray Ramey, Jill Mike Holewinski, Tina Kosztyo and Jackie Mike Crosser; Brother: Steve Linda DePottey. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Daniel DePottey. Visitation will be 11am-1pm, Wednesday, August 07, 2013, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Reverend James Lehman at 1:00PM, following visitation in the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
