Robert E. Davis

Robert Bob E. Davis, South Toledo, died November 13th at age 63. Born in Toledo March 31 1944. The only child of Robert Mary Davis raised in East Toledo. He graduated from Macomber High in 1962. Bob was employed for 32 years at the Perrysburg Chrysler Machining plant as a Tool die maker, retiring in 1999. Bob was outgoing, fun loving, witty and loved by all. He and wife Sally enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii, Florida, cruising the Caribbean and more. Bob enjoyed golf, fishing and boating. His courage was admired by many as he endured several years of diabetes, cancers, strokes, heart disease and many other health related ordeals. Through it all, he was surrounded by the love of family, relatives, caring neighbors and a large circle of dear friends. All who will miss Bob very much. Relatives and friends, I have completed my last journey, my last breath did not say good-bye, for my love for you is truly timeless, beyond the touch of death. I leave myself to your memory with love. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sally of 20 years, daughters; Michelle Mike Swisher, Lisa Marty Scheanwald, step daughters; Kristy Greg Zawojski, Kerry Jason Klepacz Houghton, Kelly Jamie Rossler. Grandchildren; Katie, Kim and Ellie Swisher, Nick and Ben Scheanwald, Nicole Zawojski, Ashley, Brooke and Paige Houghton, Alex, Alyssa and Alayna Rossler. Former son-in-law; Ken Houghton, mother-in-law; Sara Sine and other family from East Liverpool OH. Cousin, Dorothy Lester Jones. Preceeded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Davis, Aunt Hazel Uncle Ted Kwiatkowski.
