Robert Thomas Dalziel

Robert T. Dalziel 8/22/1962-6/8/2015 Rob Dalziel went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 8th, after a prolonged illness. He was a generous and giving person. Rob tested in the top 2% in the Nation for Mechanical Aptitude and used that talent as an employee of Glasstech, Inc. for 20 years. He was a very innovated and resourceful master machinist and helped design many of Glasstech’s systems. Rob was also a fan of rock & roll and its history. As a hobby, he crafted electric guitars from scratch and repaired and restored guitars for local musicians. His creativity was endless. He is loved and will be greatly missed! Rob is survived by his parents, Diane and Walt Ericson; sisters, Kristine (Thad) O’Brien , Kathlean (Brian) Collier; brother, Jeremy (Angela) Ericson; nephews and nieces, Brooks, Forest, Parker and Grace O’Brien, Andrew, Sophia and Bryson Collier, Avalyn, Louisa and Jack Ericson; many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Dalziel; grandparents, Loretta and George Grocke, Anne and Earl Dalziel, Teresa and Elmer Ericson. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children Hospital Foundation, Indianapolis, IN. 30 South Meridan Street Indianapolis, IN. 46204-3509. Services for Rob will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
