Robert D Miller

Robert D. Miller, age 84 of Toledo passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Inpatient Unit, Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on April 22, 1932 to Robert J. and Vivian (Mottocks) Miller. A 1950 graduate of Macomber High School he retired as a Shipping Supervisor from Riker Manufacturing where he was employed over 30 years. A devoted family man he was a born again Christian and he and his wife were members of Shelton Park Church of God. Bob enjoyed auto racing, especially the local tracks and carpentry having built 3 cottages. Bob was preceded in death by wives Eileen and Shirley; sister Marilyn Miller; and great-granddaughter Aurora Jane Fisher. He is survived by his wife Nancy; his children Robert D. (Linda) Miller, Jr., Donna (Greg) Rasmussen, Richard (Grace) Miller and Debra Miller; step-daughter Susan (Chris) Crawford; 8 grandchildren;20 great-grandchildren; and brother Ron (Sue) Miller. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Wednesday from 4-7 PM where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Shelton Park Church of God, 8702 Douglas Rd. Temperance MI, 48182.
