Robert J. Carr, Jr.

Beloved Husband, Father, Grand Father, Great Grandfather and Friend, Robert Carr, Jr. of Temperance, Michigan passed away August 10, 2014. Robert was born August 29, 1933 in Alton, Illinois to Emma and Robert Carr, Sr. Robert was very active in the Masonic Order. He served many positions, was Past Master and a member of Toledo Fort Industry No. 144, F&AM Masonic Lodge for over 56 years. Robert retired from Ford Motor Company as an engineer and served as a deputy sheriff with the Monroe County Sheriff Department for over two decades. Robert is survived by daughters Elaine (Douglas) Dold, Glenna Kay, sons Robert III (Deb), and William (Monica). He was very proud of his 9 grandchildren, Tracie, Robert IV, Shane, Robyn, Christina, April, Allison, Lisa and Nicholas. Robert was blessed with 13 Great Grandchildren, Alexander, Kendall, Riley, Logan, Abigail, Cooper, Peter, Kyle, Beckett, Anderson, Ellie, Addison and Charlotte. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday from 4 – 9 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio with Masonic Services at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, also at Walkers Funeral Home. Burial services will be held at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, 621 W. Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
