ROBERT W. BURKHARD Robert W. Burkhard, age 74, of Holland, Ohio died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo on May 17, 1941 to Clarence and Lucille (Webb) Burkhard. He worked as a Crane Operator for the Toledo World Terminal Port of Toledo for many years and he enjoyed playing the guitar, traveling and fishing. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Trudie L. (Jeff) Ramsey, Bobbi Jo (Michael) Grabarczyk and William Robert (Nicole) Burkhard; granddaughters, Allyson Burtels and Alana Grabarczyk; sister, Mary Loveless as well as his brother, Larry (Sandy) Burkhard. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Robert Burkhard. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Private burial will be held at Springfield Township Cemetery in Holland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 South Detroit Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43609 or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, Illinois 60611.
