Robert "Bob" Kaiser, Sr.

Robert R. Kaiser, Sr., 71, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, OH. He was born on August 31, 1951, to Reuben A. Kaiser and Velma (Myerholtz) Kaiser at Magruder hospital in Port Clinton, OH. After graduating from Oak Harbor High School Bob got his first job at Gordon Lumber in the concrete division. Bob worked hard throughout his life, most proudly as the owner/operator for Kaiser Excavating, as well as a mechanic at Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station, and for several years at UPS. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed fishing either on his boat or on the ice. Bob loved living in the country and farming his land as well as the many animals he had throughout the years. While living there he made the news by helping local law enforcement officers round up his neighbor’s escaped cattle with his horse Gideon. He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge. Bob will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and cat Rufus.

Bob is survived by his children, Stephanie Lynn Stoler and Robert R. (Katie) Kaiser, Jr., grandchildren, Joshua Kaiser, Aidan Kaiser, Kiera Stoler, Vincent Stoler, and Sophia Kaiser, sisters, Carol Martin, and Lois Ann (Roger) Velliquette, stepsister Bonnie Fish, long time business associate Lera Cope as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Reuben A. Kaiser, mother, Velma Velliquette, stepfather, Dale C. Velliquette, sisters, Linda L. Carsten and Sharon M. Sebastiano, and stepsister, Judy Velliquette Buhrow.

Funeral services for Bob will be conducted by Pastor Holli Burkard at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge with visitation prior to the services at the church from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery, Benton Township, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert can be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor is assisting the family with arrangements.
