Robert J. Barraco 74, of Oregon, died January 16, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 22, 1940 to Frank (Mary Anna Miller) Barraco. Bob served his country in the United States Army. He retired as an oiler from the Nabisco Plant in Toledo. Bob played the steel guitar and went to their conventions. He was an active band member in the Silver Creek Band. Bob was active in Boy Scouts of America, especially Troop 112. He and his wife Donna enjoyed photography and taking pictures at the various parks. Bob was an artist, who enjoyed sketching and drawing He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, parents, and his Uncle Sam. Surviving are his children: Cherie (Robert) Wisniewski, Bobbi (Ron) Wiegand, Robbin (Art) Munoz, Marc (Tracy) Barraco, John Barraco, 17 Grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, and a brother, Casper Barraco, along with nieces and nephews Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, (419-666-3121) from 6-9 PM Tuesday, and 2-8 PM Wednesday, where funeral services will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care and support.
