Robert Anthony Banner

Robert Anthony Banner age 73 of Swanton, OH passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2012 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Bob was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 25, 1939 to Loren and Ruth Banner. He was employed at Sunsource as a Hydraulic Designer and Engineer retiring in 2004. Bob enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and was an avid reader. He was passionate about politics often displaying signs in his front yard. Bob was a member of the Elks and St. Richards Parish in Swanton. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Banner; daughters, Andrea Darin Dawson, Audrey Steven Rosok, Heather William Gibson and son, Matt Harris. Also Surviving are 5 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace and Charles Banner. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Monday from 2-8:30 pm. with Sharing of Memories to be held at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Richard Catholic Church, 333 Brookside Dr., Swanton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
