Robert James Anderson, 87, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born on August 18, 1932 in Prudenville, Michigan, the son of Earl and Genevieve (Gallery) Anderson. He married Gloria Woodruff and she survives. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served our country during the Korean War. Following his discharge, he worked as a Forklift operator at US Gypsum in Gypsum, Ohio until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, singing, and everything John Wayne. He was a people person, loved to talk, and never met a stranger. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; sons, Robert Jr., Robert III, David, Raymond, and Dan; daughters, Brenda and Melva; sisters, Goldie and Janet; brothers, Mitch and Buzz; blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jamie and Brian; and a sister.
