Robert "Rob" Ahrens

Rob was an amazing person who’s smile could brighten up any room. ECI has had the pleasure of serving Rob for over 20 years. During that time, we were able to get to know Rob, watch him grow as an individual, gaining more and more independence as the years went on. 

Rob was special, he could be shy at times but once he got to know someone, you were able to build a relationship with him and share a bond for life. Rob had a hat for every occasion, whether a hat for different sports teams, a hat to celebrate a holiday, or his favorite Disney character, Mickey Mouse! Rob was always willing to help others and try new things. Rob could make anyone’s day better and his good mood was contagious, whether it was hearing him laugh or Rob singing the words to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! 

Rob not only had a great relationship with the staff that worked with him, but he also shared an unbreakable bond with his roommates, Donnie and David. Rob, Donnie and David were more than roommates, they were family. Rob will be loved and missed by so many people. Rob will always be in our hearts and will forever be a part of the ECI family.
