Rita Delores Pellek

Rita Delores Pellek, 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Goerlich Center of Sylvania. She was born April 3, 1925, to John and Mary (Ettl) Imes in Toledo, Ohio. Rita was a clerk at The Toledo Hospital and retired from her administrative assistant position as foster grandparents. She was a beloved mother that adored her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Pellek; sisters, Marian Ringle, and Helen Makowski. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda (Carl) Cabaj, Mary Kay (Jerry) Watson, John (Anne) Pellek, Patricia (Jeffrey) Hussar, Mick (Jan Watson) Pellek, Gary Pellek; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, and many other friends and relatives. Visitation will be at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, January 15, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Friday, January 16, 2015, with prayers at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. followed by Mass at Sacred Heart Parish at 11 a.m., 509 Oswald Street, Toledo, Ohio. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the care of the family.
