Rita Marie Kramer

Rita Marie (Welniak) Kramer, 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away December 1, 2021. Rita was born September 10, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Bernard Welniak and Mary Zolciak. She attended Whitney Vocational High School. Rita worked as a food-service worker in the TPS School System. She married Bernard Kramer on September 1, 1951 and they shared 41 years together until he passed in 1995. Rita was a wonderful mom and grandmother giving selflessly to others throughout her life. She will be remembered for her quick wit, great sense of humor, love of family get-togethers and light houses. She is survived by her daughters; Charlotte Mariasy, Ruth Labrunda and Theresa (Kevin) Ansted; brother, Bernard (Dorothy) Welniak, Jr., eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, Bernard, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Mariasy and granddaughter, Mecca Keener. Friends and family will be received Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee (419-893-7686). Prayers will be recited in the funeral home, Monday, December 6, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. with a funeral mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Burial will be private. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Lakes of Monclova for their exceptional care and support.
