Rita F. Kelly

Rita F. Kelly passed away on July 7, 2026, just shy of her 101st birthday.

Born in Maine, Rita spent her early years there before meeting and marrying her husband, Bob Kelly. After their marriage, they made their home together and raised two sons, Chris and Matt.

Rita lived a long life on her own terms and was known for her independent spirit. Reaching nearly 101 years of age, she witnessed a century of remarkable change.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and her son, Matt.

Rita is survived by her son, Chris Kelly and his wife, Toni; her daughter-in-law, Sandy Kelly; her grandchildren, John (Julie) Yaggi, Tom (Sydney) Yaggi, Clare Kelly (Vinny Michalec), Erin Kelly (Ciaran Duffy), Maggie Alexander-Kelly (Chris Alexander-Kelly), Brad Kelly, Allison Burnett (Noah Burnett), and Ryan Kelly; as well as her great-grandchildren, Mavis and Roslyn Yaggi, Jack and Tilly Yaggi, and James Michalec.

In accordance with Rita's wishes, a private burial service will be held at a later date.

The family honors Rita's long life and wishes her peace.
